The Wildlife of North America and the Serengeti

Russ Burden presents “The Wildlife of North America and the Serengeti” on Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at 7pm, virtually. Meeting details emailed to members.

Russ Burden will give a two part presentation. The show features wildlife images of the many species he’s photographed while running domestic workshops and safaris to Tanzania. Russ’s passion for wildlife photography is revealed in his images as he strives to capture every animal in the best light, with a pleasing background, to show behavior of both single and multiple subjects, and even photograph them in humorous situations. The presentation provides a journey into the world of wildlife photography where for 20 minutes, you’ll see the photos Russ created set to music that complements the photos.

Following the show, Russ will highlight some of the photos contained in the program and discuss details as to how they were captured. He’ll discuss his techniques or provide an anecdote about the highlighted photo. A question and answer period will follow.
