Based upon the recent developments of the COVID-19 Virus, the City of Lone Tree is postponing, effective immediately, all public rentals of the Lone Tree Civic Center for the month of March.
Our Lone Tree Photography Club board members had been monitoring the recent developments of the virus and we were already considering a possible postponement of our two upcoming March events. This move is consistent with what we are seeing with cancellations of various public events throughout the country. The safety of our club members, presenters and guests is our top priority and I believe that the announcement to postpone the near term events is the proper decision.
We are currently working on ideas so that we can continue to provide benefits to our members during this challenging period. We will provide updates as more information becomes available on the reopening of the Civic Center as well as other club sponsored events.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and hope you understand we are doing this with your health and well being in mind.
