Lightroom and Photoshop Post-Processing Workshops

Join professional photographer and Breakthrough Photography Team Pro Joseph Roybal for two information packed post-processing lessons that will take your photo editing to a new level:

Lightroom Exposed: Enhancing Your Workflow on Saturday, January 18, 2020, 9am – 2pm
and
Luminosity Masks Unmasked: Photoshop Workflow on Saturday, March 7, 2020, 9am – 4pm

Each course is designed to be taken individually or as a two part series. Both of these courses are designed with the idea for the intended approach to be more focused on the tools you will use to achieve incredible results in your final images. Based upon Joseph’s personal workflow in the digital darkroom you will learn his secrets and the thought process he employs to achieve the look he does in his imagery. He has selected at least two high resolution images per lesson that include typical lighting and atmospheric conditions that are common to many situations we find ourselves in while in the field so that participants can follow along and try the adjustments on their own computer.

The Lightroom course will focus heavily on many of the new features the program has to offer and how to achieve the best results using them, mainly Range Masks and all they can do, Color Grading to achieve harmony in your final color palette and more.
The Photoshop course is designed to be more advanced course that will also include Luminosity Masks (utilizing Tony Kuyper’s TK7 Panel) and tailored to modern interest in night sky photography and how to effectively stack and blend your foreground into a night sky creating a seamless transition at the horizon between foreground and sky – something that is not easily achieved. Simply, when wanting to create realistic and gorgeous night sky images.
This is a more complex edit so please understand this when signing up you brain will be challenged but you will learn some cool stuff.
We will also be working with a standard image that will showcase how Luminosity Masks can transform your creative approach to your editing workflow. Tony is a great supporter to Joseph Roybal’s educational courses and attendees to this workshop will receive a discount code after registration to receive 20% off your entire purchase on Tony Kuyper’s website. A paid registration is required to get the discount code.

The intention in both courses is to provide participants the necessary tools to take what they learn in this course and apply it to their workflow later on. Many times our creativity is limited by our own limitations and Joseph’s goal is to help break these barriers down allowing each participant to achieve their full potential within the craft.

Please note: The Photoshop course is going to be utilizing Tony Kuyper’s TK7 Panel which will allow for simplicity working within Photoshop. All participants are requested to purchase and download these prior to February’s course. Although it is not required to have this plugin, it is highly recommended and encouraged. Should participants not wish to purchase this plugin, please understand how to create and work with layers, adjustments, create and refine a Luminosity Mask within Photoshop, open and close Adobe Camera Raw multiple times within an edit. These panels are utilized and preferred by many of the top photographers in the industry and for good reason. Being $29 for a lifetime of use, constant updating to their functionality and incredible email support from Tony Kuyper himself, they are truly a solid investment.

Please feel free to email Joseph Roybal or contact LTPC. We will be happy to answer any questions you might have.
