“I See You Like This” art exhibition on Thursday, October 16, 2025, 1:30pm at the Lone Tree Arts Center.
Join us for a special event as we view and discuss pieces from our art exhibition, “I See You Like This.” This exhibition allowed children to see their parents as subjects through the lens of their own imaginations. The child artist styled their parent in a one-of-a-kind portrait, where their face was the canvas. This session will be led by Patrick Elkins-Zeglarski.
Photography provided by LTPC members Dave Purcell, Quirino Zaragosa, Michael Ryno, and Jane Richards.
@ltartscenter: What happens when kids get to see you through their eyes?
Our current exhibition “I See You Like This” flips the script and lets kids turn their parents into living works of art with stickers, scarves, envelopes, and more!
Follow our lovely box office manager Ashley and her two adorable kids as they go through the whole process. The results are just as sweet and hilarious as you’d imagine.
Come see these finished portraits in the gallery, by photographer Dave Purcell, before the exhibit closes on October 26!
