Please come join us as artists and photographer Greg Cradick discusses the in’s and outs of submitting images for juried shows. Technical considerations like image preparation, file size, color spaces, file types and resolution will all be covered. In addition he will talk a little about the jurying process and the different methods by which artworks are select for exhibitions.
Over the past 20 years Greg Cradick has been making a living in the arts. Early on in his career he made his mark as a lighting designer for theatrical productions and dance, then had numerous exhibitions of paintings and sculptures. After graduating Summa Cum Laude from Savannah College of Art & Design with a BFA in Photography and Printmaking he began teaching photography in Denver, Colorado. At Working with Artists, Greg has taught over 2,500 students in more than 250 different photographic workshops on over 30 subjects. For four years Greg was the Executive Director of Working with Artists, a 501(c)3 Non-profit organization.
Greg has been included in over 50 solo & group art exhibitions all over the country. He regularly gives lectures at museums and art institutions around Colorado, including the Denver Art Museum, the Denver MCA, RedLine, the Center for Fine Art Photography and more. He regularly juries and curates regional photographic exhibitions in the rocky mountain region.
